Peace, Death! is an engaging arcade simulator that presents a challenging gameplay experience. In this game, players assume the role of the Reaper, employed by Death himself in Apocalypse, Inc. The objective is to pass a trial period of seven weeks in order to secure a permanent position and advance the interests of one's employer.
The game boasts an array of notable features. Each client must be carefully assessed to determine their ultimate fate. With new features being introduced daily, the game progressively becomes more difficult. Is your client armed with a pistol? Send them to Hell, unless they have a change of heart and discard their weapon. Does your client have an affinity for hats? Should you send them to Heaven? It's not as straightforward as it seems - first, make sure to remove the hat, as there may be hidden horns lurking beneath. Features such as being a demon, killer, or angel also factor into the decision-making process.
The occurrence of catastrophes adds an element of surprise and urgency to the game. As a Reaper, time is of the essence when addressing these unique events. Properly allocating clients is essential for successfully resolving a catastrophe, unlocking new clients, and expanding Death's influence. Whether it's dealing with unlucky pirates or combating a bear influenza epidemic in Siberia, the game presents a variety of captivating catastrophes.
Players will encounter new events on a weekly basis. The number of events increases with each passing day worked. From trainees' phone calls to discovering safes filled with contraband and encountering undercover agents from Paradox, these events pose challenges while aiding in the Reaper's growth and development. Interestingly enough, you can even try your hand at cooking soup!
Every seventh day marks a special theme day in the game. Players have the opportunity to select clients' fates while enjoying a unique soundtrack that perfectly complements the spirit of the chosen theme. Journey to Egypt, raise a toast to Mother Russia, or embrace the pirates on their designated day.
And there's more! Engage in Horsemen tasks, savor the humor and quirky phrases from the clients, discover numerous references and hidden surprises, and earn bonuses or face penalties as you encounter truly special clients. All of these factors contribute to shaping your future as a Reaper and ultimately dictate the outcome of the game.
